Our Foodladder greenhouse and the schools Kitchen Garden has been the basis behind a number of nutritious recipes this term.
From Broccoli frittata and home made lemon cordial with the Seed to Spoon class.
Healthy fried rice using bok choi, broccoli, spring onions and carrots from the garden for the canteen and Hands On Learning
lunch as well as chicken wraps with Cos lettuce picked fresh on the day.
Don’t forget the fresh eggs from our hard working chooks!
Students have been busy sowing seeds ready for Spring and the Ag/Hort class have propagated trays of fresh green sprouts as a treat for the chickens.




Hands On Learning team have been busy. Completing the park benches started earlier this year and we able to deliver them to Budj Bim last week. The rangers were very impressed with the look and quality and requested more!
Cementing was completed around the greenhouse, help with the Heywood community Garden, lots of yummy lunches made and our ‘Eagle’ has landed in the kitchen garden.
