Instrumental Music

The College Instrumental Music program, provides students with the opportunity to learn an instrument and to perform in a range of College events both on and off campus.

Instrumental music students are encouraged to develop an appreciation and enjoyment of Music through studies of their selected instrument. Students are given the opportunity to learn the skills to enable them to perform confidently. We welcome students from all cultural, musical backgrounds and interests to take part and share their musical journey together. Our Instrumental Music teacher is highly qualified and a very successful musician across a range of genres.

Lessons are offered on a variety of instruments, both orchestral and contemporary including:

• Ukulele
• Drums
• Piano
• Tenor Horn
• Keyboard
• Flute
• Clarinet
• Saxophone
• Trumpet
• Vocal

The timetable for Instrumental Music operates during school hours on a weekly basis to ensure students maximise their learning in their choice of instrument.

They are provided with the opportunity to perform at College events such as school assemblies ANZAC Day, End Of Year Presentation Evening, as well as various local community events.
