At HDSC we are all about rewarding positive behaviours and with our GRIP awards linked directly to our four key values and House system, it’s never been easier to gain those individual and valuable house points.
There are a number of ways in which you can earn points.
The easiest way is to demonstrate any of our 4 key values:
This can be through attendance, academic, sporting, cultural, artistic, community or other endeavours.
You can earn GRIP awards and gain points by completing all your work on time, putting in a fantastic effort, being respectful to self and others and being responsible just to name a few. Just ask your teachers about how you can receive a GRIP award in class.
Students who earn awards also earn points. Earn enough points and you can trade them in on a prize. The more you save, the more prizes you can claim or go for one of the big ones. Choice is yours.
Remember, you only get out of it what you put in, the school, staff, parents and carers are here to support you in your learning and encourage you to do your best. Take the time to ask questions, get feedback, put in your best effort and earn those points as we move towards the end of year house cup.
